One of the many advantages of Review My Elearning is that it creates a record of the comments and conversations. This documentation can be used later by teams.
Also if a comment is edited it could create confusion and more work.
For example consider this scenario:
A Reviewer creates a comment requesting that fonts be changed to blue.
The Developers see the comment and begin work.
The Reviewer changes their mind, edits the comment to say ‘green’.
The developers would want a record of the change in that case. So it is better that Reviewer creates a Reply to their own comment to clarify the change. Keep in mind those comments will not be visible in the next review cycle if you don’t want to see them.
